Joint Projects
This activity, first funded under Peace 1, proved very successful with participating schools and NcompasS plans to develop it further. It is especially relevant to schools and youth groups that would like to initiate North-South work.

Youth & Education Innovative Projects
Provision will be made for youth organisations / educational institutions to apply for funding for new and innovative projects in the area of formal and informal education, and particularly for mutual co-operation.

Education/Youth Job Shadowing/Short Study Visits
The aim is to facilitate the sharing of information and experience on topics of common interest concerning educational systems, practices and policies within the formal and informal education sectors on a cross-border basis, thereby making a valuable contribution to the professional development of teachers and youth workers.

Student Teacher/Youth Worker Placements
Student Teacher/Youth Worker Placements will involve several initial training colleges North and South. This strand seeks to encourage greater structured links between both systems and sectors and to promote understanding of the respective systems within the professions through the exchange of student teachers and youth workers during their teaching practice and their youth work placements.

Training Course for Teachers & Youth Workers
The aim of the course is to provide an accredited joint training programme for practising youth workers and teachers that will equip and enable them to be more effective in managing and leading educational exchanges in a north-south and east-west context.
