Over 60 groups and 2,500 beneficiaries took part in NcompasS activities, which have benefited young people and those who work with them, between 2003 – 2006. In order to share the learning from these participants with those now undertaking cross border work , a Guide to Good Practice in North South Activities has been developed , based on the experiences of a wide range of groups. As well as this website version, which can be downloaded, the Guide has been produced in written format and is available from the NcompasS co-ordinators. Southern Ireland: ecreely@leargas.ie and Northern ireland. maire.nithreasaigh@britishcouncil.org NcompasS produced an Exploratory booklet to introduce the first steps you need to take when considering North South activities. Having explored what is involved, if you then decide to continue, a more substantial Guide is available covering Preparation and Activities and Evaluation and Follow-Up. All of this material can be downloaded. The material on the website will include additional material from groups taking part in further NcompasS activities. |
